Claymore mixes a medieval fantasy setting with wild west sensibilities. The titular Claymores track and kill Yoma, demons who feast on human flesh, for a large fee. They are controlled by a shadowy organization which seems only concerned with money and research into the nature of Yoma.
The story line is pretty straightforward, though it revolves around a large number of Claymores interacting with one another. The art is unique and the storytelling is tight and enigmatic. Don’t pass this up as “just another action manga,” though. Through character development and the author’s unique style, this manga rises above many others of its kind and isn’t to be missed.

There are only one or two minor Crows spoilers in there, so you can read it without ruining your enjoyment of Crows. It’s also an ideal entry point for those who want to read Worst without having to wait for the Crows scans to finish.
